Gallery Pjotr (English)
Gallery Pjotr, located at Goirkestraat 78, is a former merchant’s house and working accommodation. Also, it is one of the oldest buildings in this street. It was built around 1780 for merchant and tree-nurseryman Norbert Schoffers (1752–1808). The back of the house and the coach house date back to 1918. The manufacturing families Pessers and Franken lived here for many decades. Gallery Pjotr, which besides being a gallery also includes a statue garden and a studio, was founded in 1988. In the studio courses are taught.
